I am originally from eastern NC and enjoy spending time with my family. I attended The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where I earned my Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene. I have been a member of the Carolina Center for Dental Implants since 2005. I am currently the Director of Clinical Affairs and enjoy this very fulfilling role because I see, on a daily basis, how dentistry can change and improve the patient’s life.
I am currently the Director of Business Administration at the Carolina Center for Dental Implants and Periodontics. As the Director of Business Administration I’m responsible for managing the daily office operations and procedures. I’m originally from Fort Collins, Colorado and graduated from AMU with a Master’s degree in Public Health. Prior to joining this amazing team in March 2017 I worked 13 years for a diverse range of organizations, including government agencies and management positions within the private sector and non-profit organizations. I’m excited to now call New Bern home and thrilled to work for such a brilliant Periodontist and manage the most wonderful, talented, hard working women I know!
When I was in the 8th grade, my Sunday school teacher was attending dental hygiene school. Every Sunday she shared with us what she was learning. Because of her enthusiasm, I was inspired to choose dentistry as my career. I have been a Registered Dental Hygienist for 37 years. I enjoy serving patients and helping improve not only their smile but their overall health as well.
I grew up in West Virginia, but have lived in North Carolina for 33 years. I worked as a dental assistant prior to going to Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte to become a Registered Dental Hygienist. I have been in dentistry for 33 years and always enjoy educating patients on how to have a happy, healthy smile. In my free time, you can find me on the golf course, at the beach or serving on missions trips.
I have been a member of the Carolina Center for Dental Implants since October 2017. I was born and raised in Washington, NC and I still call it home today. I attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2012. While in College at UNC, I got to experience UNC Men’s Basketball team winning the national Championship! In 2013 I married my high school sweetheart and we now have one beautiful daughter. I am thankful to be employed, for almost 6 years, in a profession were my passion for patient care and education can help benefit patients.
I am originally for Johnston, RI but have lived here in eastern NC for many years. I began my career in dentistry in 1997. I earned my degree in Education which allows me to have a versatile role with The Carolina Center for Dental Implants that encompasses all aspects of the practice. I am proud to be part of such a friendly, dedicated team. I look forward to meeting you!
I am a lifelong resident of Vanceboro, NC. I joined the team as a Customer Service Representative in October 2017 and have the privilege of working with the most amazing women I’ve ever met. I couldn’t be happier here and cannot wait to see where this practice leads me!
I have a heart for helping people and a true passion for the profession of dentistry. I am from Kinston, NC and a graduate of North Carolina Central University with a B.S. in Biology. I received my Dental Assistant certification in 2017 and I joined the Carolina Center for Dental Implants shortly thereafter. It is pleasure to be a part of the transformative dental work that our team does daily. I look forward to meeting you and assisting with your oral health concerns
Born and raised as a “Military Brat”, I had the privilege to live in many beautiful places. New Bern seemed to be the place I kept coming back to. It was here that I finally decided to enter into the medical field and sought the opportunity as an Administrative Assistant. I bring with me more than 13 years of customer service experience that helps me serve our customers with a big, warm, and inviting smile. I believe, a nice smile, soft voice, and downright genuine hospitality goes a long way in making our patients feel welcomed and helps to ensure that they will want to return and recommend our practice as Eastern North Carolina’s “Practice of Choice.”
I currently reside in Chocowinity, NC where I was raised surrounded by my beautiful family. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with loved ones. Dental assisting has been my dream since I was a junior at Southside High School and I’m happy to have found a practice that not only has a passion for oral health, but also cares for you as an individual. After joining the Carolina Center for Dental Implants and Periodontics team in October of 2018, I feel extremely fortunate to have become a member of such a caring and compassionate group of individuals both in the office and their personal lives. I can’t wait to meet you all!!
REMIX: Now this is a story all about how my life got flipped-turned upside down and I’d like to take a minute just sit right there, I’ll tell you how I became an assistant in a town covered by bears. In east Chocowinity born and raised on the playground was where I spent most of my days chillin’ out maxin’ relaxin’ all cool and shootin some b-ball outside of the school. Bridge on your upper arch? Teeth up to no good? Crowns making trouble in my neighborhood I saw a whole lot of plaque and my mom got scared and said “You’re moving to New Bern, assist in a dental chair”
