When I was in the 8th grade, my Sunday school teacher was attending dental hygiene school. Every Sunday she shared with us what she was learning. Because of her enthusiasm, I was inspired to choose dentistry as my career. I have been a Registered Dental Hygienist for 37 years. I enjoy serving patients and helping improve not only their smile but their overall health as well.
I have been a member of the Carolina Center for Dental Implants since 2005. I am originally from eastern NC and enjoy spending time with my family. I attended The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where I earned my Bachelors of Science in dental hygiene. I am a Treatment Coordinator and enjoy this very fulfilling role because I see, on a daily basis, how dentistry can change and improve the patient’s life.
I was born in Long Island, NY to Air Force parents. I moved to New Bern, NC as an infant and attended St. Paul’s Catholic School. I graduated from New Bern High School in 1975. I have been in dentistry of 42 years. I chose the dental field because I enjoy helping people and literally changing their lives through great dentistry. I am very pleased to be a member of such a great team that will go the extra smile for our patients. I have learned and continue to learn daily in this very progressive practice.
I joined this incredible team in 2004 after completing the dental assisting program at Coastal Carolina Community College. I am a CDA II and I facilitate the service and maintenance of the clinical equipment. I enjoy taking care of patients, meeting new people and helping people smile. I am a life-long Jones County resident and I love being from a small town. My favorite part of life is my wonderful family and I love spending time with them and enjoying life in Eastern North Carolina.
I am a lifelong resident of Jones County, NC. I joined this wonderful team in 2006. I attended courses at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where I earned my certification as a Dental Assistant II. I am the Clinical Liaison for The Carolina Center for Dental Implants. I enjoy my role here because I love helping patients and improving their quality of life.
I am originally for Johnston, RI but have lived here in eastern NC for many years. I began my career in dentistry in 1997. I earned my degree in Education which allows me to have a versatile role with The Carolina Center for Dental Implants that encompasses all aspects of the practice. I am proud to be part of such a friendly, dedicated team. I look forward to meeting you!
I was born in Kinston, NC and moved to New Bern when I was 2. I wanted to be a Dental Hygienist since I was in the 7th grade! I was inspired by a hygienist that came to speak to our class for career day, her enthusiasm and passion for the dental field moved me to become a hygienist. I graduated from Coastal Carolina Community College in 1993. I have been in dentistry for over 20 years. I have served in many roles throughout my career in dentistry. Dentistry is always changing and advancements are just around the corner. I am very excited to be a part of such a cutting-edge practice that allows us to be the best we can be.
I was born in West Germany Heidelberg. I’ve been in dentistry for 20 years and I am the Receptionist/Scheduling Coordinator. I knew from a young age I wanted to work in the dental field, I love making people smile! I am the mother of 4 and the grandmother of 9. I have an English bulldog named Suga. I have been published in Table Side Poems. I enjoy photography and have won awards for my photos.
I spent the first 33 years of my professional career as a Physical Therapist. I have been in the dental world for 13 years in management. I am widowed and have one daughter and two grandchildren.
I am originally from West Virginia but have lived in NC for 32 years. I attended Central Piedmont Community College earning my degree in Dental Hygiene. I have been in dentistry for 25 years. I have been lucky enough to be married to my best friend for 32 years and we have one daughter. I enjoy the beach, playing golf and going on mission trips. I have been with Carolina Center for Dental Implants for three years and look forward to continuing the awesome work with patients.
I am originally from Kinston, NC and recently moved to Dover after getting married in July, 2015. I earned my Dental Assisting certificate in 2012 after training at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I have enjoyed learning all that I can with The Carolina Center for Dental Implants. I am proud to be part of such a wonderful team and enjoy helping each and every patient achieve their ideal smile. My husband and I enjoy spending time outside with our two Labradors. On the weekends, you can find us at the beach in the summer and the woods in the winter. We are expecting our first daughter this year and can’t wait to see what the future holds for our family.
